Nice to meet you
ABOUT ME
My passion for UX grew from a natural curiosity about how people think and interact with designs. While working at a large company, I quickly became the go-to person when people struggled to navigate our internal systems. I noticed that colleagues were wasting valuable time simply trying to locate information within a convoluted system. Their frustration and my ability to guide them to solutions made me realize how important it is for designs to work for real users, not just look good on paper. This experience revealed a gap between design and how people actually use products, sparking my interest in UX research and design.
A pivotal moment in my career came when I worked as an experience designer for a business continuity and risk management program at Sephora. This program wasn’t just about creating a usable tool—it was about ensuring that, during a crisis, every team member knew exactly what steps to take without hesitation. It was fundamentally about risk management and mitigation, ensuring that risks to business operations were anticipated and effectively managed through clear, user-centered design. By refining the user experience, I reduced the onboarding time for employees by 40%.
The success of that project caught the attention of Sephora’s parent company, LVMH, and I was invited to consult for their sister brands—Domain Chandon, Benefit Cosmetics, Kendo, and Fendi—helping each of them build effective, user-centered programs. This experience solidified my commitment to pursuing UX full time.
Over time, I developed a unique UX process that bridges a common gap I’ve seen across teams. Designers and PMs often feel research isn’t actionable, while researchers struggle with unclear expectations from stakeholders. This disconnect leads to confusion, delays, and wasted resources. I realized the key to overcoming these challenges is not just providing insights, but helping teams learn how to think about both their user and business problems.
UX research, much like my role in risk management at Sephora, is fundamentally about mitigating risks—reducing uncertainty in product development and ensuring that the solutions we create truly meet the needs of users and business goals.
I created a process that brings teams together early on to define key questions collaboratively:
What do we already know?
What don’t we know, but need to?
Why is this information important?
How does this knowledge impact the user experience and the business?
By guiding teams to ask these critical questions, my approach ensures that both user and business needs are fully understood and aligned. This process does more than just solve immediate problems—it teaches teams how to think more strategically about their challenges, equipping them with the skills to approach future problems with clarity and confidence.
The result? Teams can act on insights immediately, eliminating the usual guesswork, indecision, and backtracking. This alignment not only accelerates time to market, reducing launch timelines from years to months, but also saves companies significant amounts of money by minimizing rework, miscommunication, and wasted resources.
For example, I worked with teams that had been stuck in a cycle of delays and conflicting priorities, where a flagship product’s time to market was reduced from three years to just six months by implementing this process. By aligning the team early and focusing only on what was truly important, the company avoided further delays and saved millions in development costs and operational inefficiencies.
Another similar approach led to a reduction in feature development costs by 30% and cut down stakeholder revision cycles by half. At the core of my process is the idea that I don’t just solve short-term UX problems—I help teams think differently about how they approach both user and business challenges. This structured way of thinking empowers teams to move forward confidently, saving time, money, and unlocking long-term value.
If you're tired of long timelines, internal misalignment, and uncertainty in product development, I’m here to bring clarity. Let’s collaborate to transform your ideas into user-centered products that save time, reduce costs, and meet business goals effectively.

My Philosophy
My UX Philosophy
At the core of my UX philosophy is the belief that UX research is key to aligning user needs with business goals, ensuring that every decision made is rooted in clear, actionable insights. My approach is research-first because I know that a deep understanding of users—their needs, behaviors, and workflows—leads to the greatest chance of product success.
Collaboration is critical throughout the process. Whether you’re part of a startup seeking quick traction or an established company looking to innovate efficiently, getting all stakeholders on the same page early minimizes miscommunication, reduces delays, and unifies everyone around a shared vision. This alignment ensures teams move in the same direction, reducing the risk of inefficiencies and helping products get to market faster.
My process stands out because it ensures everyone knows what they need to know before we even begin. By facilitating conversations where teams define what they know, what they don’t know, and why it matters, I create a research plan that delivers actionable insights that are tightly aligned with business priorities. This approach saves time, money, and resources while empowering teams to think more strategically, whether they relate to user experience or broader business objectives.
Key Benefits for Your Team:
Accelerated Time to Market: By aligning teams early and reducing development inefficiencies, I help companies—whether small, growing, or established—deliver products faster. For example, a flagship project’s time to market was reduced from three years to just six months by eliminating unnecessary rework and team misalignment.
Cost Savings through Efficient Research: With a focus on actionable insights, my process reduces the need for costly iterations or feature development that doesn’t deliver real value. Teams build what users actually need, avoiding wasted time and resources, which is valuable whether you’re optimizing limited budgets or aiming for high efficiency.
Key Benefits for Your Team (continued):
Early Validation and Risk Reduction: Early validation is critical for avoiding costly missteps. By validating concepts early, my approach minimizes the risks associated with building products based on assumptions, enabling teams to move forward with confidence.
Maximizing Resource Allocation: I help teams focus only on what truly matters to users, preventing feature bloat and the misallocation of development resources. This leads to significant savings in time and money, helping companies—large or small—make smarter use of their resources.
Creating User-Focused Products: My process helps uncover not only what users do but also why they do it—providing the emotional and functional insights needed to create products that truly resonate. Whether you’re launching a new product or refining an existing one, understanding the user’s motivations is crucial for adoption and engagement.
In terms of long-term strategic planning, I focus on foundational, evergreen research—mapping out not only the digital workflow that the product addresses but also the broader, often non-digital, workflow of the user. This allows companies to anticipate the future evolution of user needs and adapt accordingly. When new technology emerges, my research helps to ensure seamless integration, keeping products relevant and enhancing the user experience.
Ultimately, my goal is to:
Ensure the greatest chance of success by aligning user needs with business goals and creating a clear roadmap for execution.
Save significant amounts of money through targeted, efficient research that prevents wasted resources and misguided development efforts.
Provide a blueprint for future evolution, using foundational research to anticipate how both user and business needs will grow over time.
Empower teams to think strategically about their challenges, so they continue making informed, user-centered decisions long after the initial research is complete.
Build a user-focused culture within the organization, ensuring that teams consistently deliver value that strengthens relationships with customers and drives long-term success.
